It's hard to believe that three weeks ago all of the "Whitt's" were headed down to Mexico Beach, Florida. This was the ninth year for our annual family reunion trip.
It is a week full of: relaxation, amazing seafood, laughter, sunshine (not to be confused with sunburn which often occurs), ocean, sand, crab catching, margaritas and daiquiris, Karaoke, late nights, catch phrase, and every other adjective you can use to describe a fun outgoing group of about 75+ relatives!
Did I mention how beautiful our secret destination spot hidden along the gulf of mexico in Florida is!?! It is perfect.
We all started out staying at the Driftwood Inn, but then- we out grew it. Marriages. Babies. More family catching on that it isn't your average boring family reunion but the highlight of every one's year. ha Some people stay in houses around the driftwood, but we all congregate at "the swings." Here are a few pictures of the relatives at the swings that I caught throughout the week.....
How lovely!! Looks like a great place to relax and with great company!
