My BIRTHDAY!!!

It's true. 23 years ago on April 19, 1987 the Easter bunny delivered me to my parents in Longview, Texas!

Monday was my birthday! I for one, LOVE birthdays; doesn't matter who is turning a year older. I was able to celebrate with my friends here and this past weekend here, so Monday was my day to celebrate with family. I had a Mommy/Daughter day with my wonderful mother! We started out the day with lunch at Scallions in the Heights. It was a beautiful day, so we ate lunch on the patio.

Lunch was fabulous! We stopped by Molly's Paperie, and had to buy a few items since they were having a sale. {at least that's what I told myself} Then we were off to Best Buy to purchase my birthday present!!! {stay tuned} After a trip to Sam's we decided we should pamper ourselves. We took a trip to Jasmine's. It is a new nail salon downtown near the Hampton Inn and the Axciom building. Such a wonderful experience there.

After our spa treatment, we stopped by my grandparents house, then our house to pick up my Dad for dinner at Brave New Restaurant. It is one of my favorite places because you can sit on the patio that overlooks the Arkansas River! {and they have fabulous bread}

So thankful for personal heaters! And so blessed by all of my birthday presents from friends and family members!

And my super exciting favorite item that we picked up from Best Buy and I still haven't gotten to play with yet {but it is on my agenda ASAP} MY NEW CAMERA!!!! I got a Nikon CoolPix P100 that I officially get to learn all about. Betcha can't tell I'm very excited. If you can't, trust me, I AM. If you have any tips, please send them my way!

And a BIG Thank you to all my friends and family for making this birthday so special. I had a wonderful day and felt so loved by gifts, hugs, calls, text messages, facebook and twitter. I am one super blessed girl. Thank you and I hope you all had a happy Monday {and Tuesday now}.
